A national event – following the successfully held Austrian Presidency of the EU Council Conference on ‘Impact of Social Sciences and Humanities for a European Research Agenda – Valuation of SSH in mission-oriented research‘ in November 2018 – is scheduled on 8 March 2019 in Vienna. Austrian representatives in Committees focusing on the programming of the next EU Research Framework Programme (Horizon Europe) will be brought together with researchers in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). The overall aim of this information and exchange event is the improved involvement and anchorage of SSH in the planning of the new Research Framework Programme.
